Therefore, if you have booked tickets with Delta Airlines and wish to travel with your companion, you should review the company’s pet policy and all of its rules and regulations in advance. Travelers receive Delta Pet First Service, which applies to Delta’s pet strategy terms and conditions.

Delta Airlines Pet Policy Guidelines

  • Travelers must present the pet’s health declarations and reports before their delivery as cargo.
  • No health statements or reports are required for pets traveling in the aircraft’s cabin, but authentication may be required upon arrival at the destination.
  • The pet hotel should be spacious and large enough for the pet to stand, move around, and rest comfortably without touching the top.
  • Fish, Reptiles, and Amphibians are only permitted to travel as cargo and are not permitted in the cabin or as checked baggage.
  • Delta Airlines consistently prioritizes the safety and comfort of pets. Travelers have the option of bringing their canines as checked baggage or as freight cargo. Delta Airlines guarantees the safety of a passenger’s animal companion.
